I'm glad you feel good for making this step and I'm glad you have done it too.
I am sorry you have been depressed for so long, it is very hard and you don't have to have been hospitalized to have severe depression.
It is awful to see a loved one hurt so much, has she told you she is depressed or have you just witnessed it. My advice (you don't have to take it) is to talk to her about it and ask her if she feels she would benefit from seeing a therapist, if she isn't doing so already. It is great that your family are so supportive of each other.

I do hope you get the advice you need on here and the support for both you and your daughter.
