 It's so difficult. But because it is difficult does not mean that you taking time to refresh yourself, to calm yourself, to rest and regroup, it doesn't mean that doing all that is selfish or not allowed.
In fact, it is required. A required part of being able to to "do this" and this type of trial IS to learn to not overdo. You can't control many things in this situation. The frustration could be overwhelming. Take time for yourself - real time, not just for taking care of your own issues and daily living needs- to reenergize so that you have what you need when you really want to give it to your mom.
