they may have defeated you and destroyed your soul, but you have a spirit too. That part of you is not reachable by abuse. There is a sacred part of your being that is kept inviolable.

i am so sorry that your pain and memory leaves you feeling so diminished.
i am going to hold on to hope for you. Sometimes we have to do that for someone - i feel your value as a person. I can hold onto hope for you and i do. You matter so much.
do not give up. Get angry at them, but do not give up. You matter. Look around you people here care. Sometimes you have to fight to see a scrap of good, but it is here, please look.
