Yeah, holidays can be tough sometimes. Sorry you are alone in person- but you're not alone in thought!

Since my dad died 11 years ago, I've always had to do everything about any holiday- sometimes my mom will come and sometimes she won't show-up. So this holiday I decided (with the help of therapy) to let the "ball be in her court", and the reality hit me hard- she never even called me!!

I think it's great that you do have family that you are so close to and love so much- and it must be very hard to be away from them. Maybe holding their love close to you will help this day be more bearable.
