I know this may seem a silly topic, but I'm really suffering from sleep interruption from this mattress!~ which i bought new last year. It heats up to the point that it wakes me several times during the night. I've put numerous mattress pads, quilts on it, hoping to deflect the heat that collects in it as I lay on it nightly. When I bought it, I expressly looked for one that didn't have the tempur foam on it, since I had that before and knew that stuff heats up from body contact. I don't have night sweats or hot flashes and so it's not that. I also recently stayed overnight at my aunt's house, and the mattress there didn't heat up and I slept wonderfully. The latest thing I"ve done, today was to order and receive a 4" futon mattress, all cotton, which i've placed over this "hot" mattress. I hope it helps. I may end up sleeping on the floor if this doesn't provide the remendy. I would like mattress recommendations!
