It's not stupid at all, yes. (((yes))) I hope your dog returns soon... I know how painful it can be to lose your bestfriend. I had a dog for 12 years (since I was 5) and he passed away last year... I went through miserable pain over his death and greived a lot, but old age caught up with him. I wish you much comfort.
