Thanks, Sabby and Super, for the sympathy and suggestions. Well, last night, I slept with the 4" cotton futon mattress on top of my existing "hot" mattress, and it STILL heated up! I am still blaming this on the mattress, and today I plan to flip it, since it doesn't have the same configuration on the back side. I may end up sleeping in a hole, but will try anything at this point. And, Sabby, someone gave me an egg crate of tempur foam which was hotter'n h***, so I stay away from them also.
I guess there are far worse problems, eh!, but I'm really frustrated!
