First off hun, you need to get away from this girl, she is no good for you,
Why anyone would see hitting as an appropratie way to argue I don't know, and she does NOT have the right to hit you anytime you want.
If the situation as resolved itself, I wouldn't go to the princpal over it, this girl sounds really unstable and rilling her up again, I don't think it would be worth it. Not that I'm saying what this girl is doing is right, it's very wrong, and it makes me rather angry to read she did that to you, Your such a sweetheart, why anyone would want to hurt you I don't understand.
I think that maybe since the situation diffused, it's best just to walk away from it, and from this girl, she doesn't sound safe at all and if she did it once she will do it again. I know it's hard to walk away from friends, but sometimes it's necssary to let friends that aren't really friends go.
