I was just wondering how easy is it to missdiagnose ADD/ADHD in adults.
The way I was evaluated... I would have to say misdiagnoses are probably common. You need to be your own advocate. Take one of the online assessment, bring some of articles with you to the doctor's office and clearly present your case. Then leave the articles and online assessment with your doctor. If they are interested in help you, they will consider the evidence you brought and investigate it, even if their goal is to rule out the likelihood of ADHD.
