Just a note from the unemployed psych nurse/DIDer:

Effexor XR is to be taken in the morning (that's when I take mine) Effecor XR is like an "upper" anti-depressant...which would account for your trouble sleeping. The Ativan is going to always make you sleepy. Ativan is classified as an anti-anxiety & sedative/hypnotic,anti-emetic (Emetic is nausea/throwing up) If you take any other CNS depressants w/ the Ativan, you will be VERY "spaced out" Adverse reactions to Ativan are "lethargy, drowsiness, feeling of "hang-over"
So, I can understand you're hesistant about taking it after your dentist; use your best judgement.......after a dentist appt., you may WANT to sleep. This has just been a "by-the-book" advisory/informative info. Always consult your physician first.
