Yes, I noticed increased headaches when I first started Lexapro. I'd encourage you to hang in there because they'll probably go awhile in a couple weeks or less.

I've been having sleep problems since my depression really kicked in about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Are you taking the Lexapro at night or in the morning. You can experiment with that. I didn't find that the LExapro had a sedative effect until my doseage was bumped up to 30mg. Now I've been cutting back on my Ambien, because the Lexapro makes me a little sleep and it's cut down on my anxiety/depression in general. Good luck and hang in there.
