The question we have to ask ourselves is a sexual fetish a bad thing ? Or is it just a question of personnel taste. I beleive so long as the 'fetish' doesn't bother the person or anyone else then there is no problem.

It just means you are going against a social pre conception that that particular fetish is an unusual thing, so maybe the answer is to just keep it to yourself.

And let society worry about its own problems of which there are many.
