does anyone here know much about this form of tibetan buddhist meditation?
i just read about a study at Emory which claims it reduces inflammation and fights depression among those who practice compassion meditation most often.
i had tried some forms of standing meditation with tai chi, but i just didn't get it. I was more ill at the time though so relaxing was very hard for me.
i also did a month of yoga once and that seemed to help.
I am scared to try a form of meditation that is physically demanding because i am out-of-shape and my body hurts a bit.
i would love to hear any of our psy-cen citizens weigh in on this.
