Fetishes that are actually dangerous to oneself or others are one thing. But it seems most are not. Embarrassment is the real danger...a fear of not fitting in, not being able to act out one's fantasies with partners, etc.

Just my opinion, but I think people should use psychological help to accept and live with a fetish, rather than try to get rid of it (again, unless it's dangerous).
