I stopped telling my non-psych Dr.s what psych meds I was taking.

Funny how if you don't tell them you're taking an anti-psychotic or mood stabilizers, and you don't write down that you've been dx'ed with a mental illness, they believe you when you tell them about your aches and pains.

They actually listen and dx you!

Mention Abilify or Lithium and BAM! They suddenly look at you with sad eyes and nod their heads as if that explains everything.

They don't hear you anymore. Ha! Story of my life.
