I hate when others tell us what we'll feel! I had that happen to me, applied to a job and was told I was "over qualified" and would get bored. I wanted to ask if they secretly thought I was an idiot since I'd applied for the job and thought I knew what I wanted for myself? Like I didn't know my own mind.

But I'm reminded of the backlash on the "Have a Happy Day" expression that goes, "Don't tell me what kind of day to have!"
