So sorry you are going through this, Leslie and Pixies. Sometimes it's just not fair... when the people we wish could stay and support us are unable to because of some difference that is vital to the survival of the relationship. I am so sorry this particular friend doesn't understand in the way that you need him to... I can tell that it really hurts.
