Hi everyone. It has been sometime since I posted. I just want to let anyone who has not tried Cymbalta to at least consider it. My T started me on klonopin and waited for my response to it. It did help somewhat with the anxiety, but the side affects were enormous. The fatigue and zonked out feeling are incredible. I was lowered on the dose and now have seemed to level out. All the time though I was wondering why an antidepressant was not prescribed. By to her estimation she wanted to see what the klonopin would do in regards to the anxiety. It has helped a great deal after getting the right dose. She then started me on Cymbalta 30mg for 7 days after which I was increased to 60mg. I developed a rash which is not known if it was the reaction to the med, but then again decreased to 30 mg. It has only been 2 weeks and I am amased to see what a difference it has made for me. Don't get me wrong it has not been a complete cure. But I am able to function at least to a point that when I talk I make some sort of sense and have a little handle on my panic and mood. The energy level is waning, but some progress is better than none. At least I feel I am human again. In time we are going to deal with the grief but not until I can go there and not have any major set backs. Just want to let everyone know that perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!!!!!!!
