Kiya, I'm so sorry your're having such a hard time. I have always thought that sleeping hours and dreams were so especial that anything should break them.
Now I know this isn't true since our own minds can have a strong effect on our sleep and especially on our dreams.
This is why my advice to you is to take all measures necessary to have a nice sleep.
The usual remedies work most of the time:
- Having a hot bath
- Not having an abundant dinner
- Watching or reading something light (like a comedy, or gossip magazines) that can help you get distracted before you sleep
Those are the things that work on me most of the time, i. e., when I do them I don't have nightmares.
In another times, I also used to have a Journal and rigorously night after night y used to write in it to let all the stress in my mind to go away safely. I think I should try that again
