Second hand stores are great! Also you may want to check out Dollar Stores. They have a lot of household things. They may be a bit on the cheap side, but they work pretty well.

I have a lot of rubbermaid furniture. I use the drawers for clothes and such, since I can't afford a dresser. Just some ideas. And starting now is always a good idea.
