I do want to add that a pet peeve of mine are those who grumble after the election about what is happening to this country--when pressed, the excuses for not voting are outlandish.
After the election, we still have phones, emails, and snail mail to let our elected officials know our views. It won't get them out of office, but it sure lets them know our opinions. Keep the pressure on with respect and dignity, and they will hear you.
Don't waste your vote; please become aware of the issues on a local and national level. Not voting because you don't like the age/gender/race, or any other superficial reason , of the candidates is childish...
Inform yourself. There are no guarantees, but you have still made your voice heard.
