I know you will do wonderful there...they will have plenty to keep your mind occupied. You know Alex will do just fine... When we got back from our three years tour to Italy we came home to visit with family... while here my husband got orders to a school in North Carolina before moving to Texas. so all plans changed... I knew if I stayed with my mother in law I would have ended up killing myself for sure but we didn't want the kids to go to 4 schools in one year.

We decided that the kids had to say here with his mother and I went with my husband and it took 6 months till we saw the kids again...talking on the phone with them a few times a week was fine with them. They had a problem to start out with but once they got use to Grandma again things went great and they had a date that I would be there to pick them up. Alex will adjust just fine... give him time but don't run yourself ragged going back and forth... Take care
