Practically all humor is at "someone's expense." Almost every joke I know of involves a person (and often a generalized stereotype of a class or type of person). The joke was directed at pharmaceutical companies in general and the idea that I would *ever* take direct pharmaceutical monies, as anybody who knows my background (or reads up a little on me) would know that isn't me.
But hey, welcome!

Thanks. Puns aren't generally depreciating, but whatever. I got the joke, and laughed until I read the cocaine quip. I wouldn't expect that you could be tempted with pharmaceutical monies since you can't actually prescribe medication. But, I agree that these companies often gouge those of us who are dependent on them for our sanity. And it does seem that profit motives outweigh patient safety sometimes. I'm not trying to be a jerk, John, I just wanted to give another perspective from someone who was saved by pharmaceuticals. I'm sure you were just trying to poke fun at Pfizer on a good day for that kind of thing. The loyalty of your following is well deserved, I'm sure.
