Yesterday.... I went to see someone at a place called Back To Health. They help people who have or have had mental health problems to back into education and/or work.
So I went to see them yesterday for my first appointment and it's soooo much better than I thought it would be. They are going to put me on a course run by them where they help a group of about 5 people to build up there confidence, how to approach talking to your boss about your health and lots of other things.
The woman who I spoke to, I will meet every week for now and she's said she can also help me to go to places (getting through the door is a very very big and hard step for me), whilst I'm building my confidence. She also has a lot of contacts in child care (which is what I want to do) so that's helpful. She has also given me information about a local support group. She will help me build my confidence, help me with applying for things, interviews... everything... right from the confidence building and preparation now up until I have a job and she will still keep in touch if I need help then. So that's great news.

Today I'm going to a local primary school (3/4 - 8 year old) to see about helping them out (drawing, reading with the kids things like that) and they may put me on a course where I'll get a qualification out of it to say I can work with kids..... this step is daunting for me!

ALSO.... this afternoon I'm going to this Play2Learn thing.

SCARY!!!!!

but yeh even though I' not completely happy (still struggling) there's some really positive things happening.
