Thanks y'all for understanding my "language."
A long time ago...in a far away place...I accepted that I needed a mental place to run to when life was building my character.
I actually do have a dumps of sort in my house. The computer room complete with a nook that is mine. I don't share it with anyone.
But I also need a mental retreat when I'm out of the house...when I'm getting stressed at the grocery store, Calgon doesn't take me away--I do. Shoot, y'all might be too young to remember that expression!

'Course I have gotten some strange looks whenever I stay in my mental dumps too long, my eyes are glazed, and I'm singing one of Leonard Cohen's songs
