After less than two months, I am out of work again. Late in August I started working for a large financial/insurance firm as a field agent. Eight weeks later, they announced that, effective yesterday, the field agent program was being eliminated. No warning. Between management, agents and support people, 429 people in eight states are out of work. Fortunately, they gave us a severance package.

I know I will be okay, but at 57, I wanted this to be my last stop before retirement. Now everything is up in the air again.
