Wow--you should be proud. You knew you wanted to make a change and you did it! It sounds very thought out and you have a plan in place. Good job!! (no pun intended!) I feel your pain regarding the driving--I drive 44 miles one way! It's horrible enough, then throw in the winter and it's horrible! I like how you have so many positives. I wish you luck on talking with your boss. The best thing is to be honest and non-confrontational and don't be intimidated. You did what was right for you and I think it's great!
