your reasons for change all sound reasonable to me. i'm not quite sure you are afraid as you send in your notice, what can they do to you when you are quitting?
you've got skills for the job you are going to do and it will be a shorter safer drive to work in winter weather - it sounds like a pretty good deal coming up! hang in there, it's gonna be ok!
