Thank you for your kind words. The seveance package actually means my salary will continue for one more month, and they have a career management organization to help us with the transition. They are providing interview skills, job placement assistance, resume development, etc.

I have already sent out two resumes, one for a job very similar to the one I just lost.

I also have a small home-based business that I can resurrect if necessary.

I also realize that so many people are in a lot more trouble than I am. I still have my house and my family. My wife and my daughter are being very supportive, as they have been all along.
