I'm thinking of using nicotine patches to help with my anxiety and depression. I'm sick of waking up every morning dreading life and wondering if I'm going to screw up and do something wrong and feel miserable. I hate waking up in the morning. I'm sick of this feeling of dread and sadness that washed over me day after day after day. I want to get rid of this feeling.
I've heard that nicotine can help people feel calmer and more relaxed. It also supposedly helps with concentration (which would be excellent for my ADHD). Does anyone know if this is true? Will nicotine be helpful? Therapy and Prozac aren't quite doing it for me. But then again, I've only been in therapy for a few weeks so maybe I just need to give it some more time. I hate waiting though. I need a quicker fix too. Any smokers want to weigh in?
