Wellbutrin is not good for anxiety at all. It is used for depression most frequently and often can make people anxious.
ScaredSad, yours is a story well worth sharing. Thank you. You sound like you had an extreme reaction to Effexor (although I've heard quite a few people have less severe difficulties). Have you tried searching the Internet for other similar stories? Maybe you could find some ideas for how to help yourself. I hope the new pdoc has some knowledge that can help. I wonder if a therapist could also help? It boggles my mind that your former pdoc let you stay on Effexor when it was causing you so much harm. Best of luck.
