Suicide shouldn't be an option, I agree, but sometimes thinking gets skewed. It is a good indicator that a person needs help. So a person could say it is wrong but I would rather say it is a disfunctional coping mechanism that CAN be replaced with other methods. Unfortunately thinking about dying is so much easier then dealing with what is causing those feelings. The fact that I thought of it as an option and that thought comforted me shows just how badly I needed help. The fact that I am a fairly happy individual now and still have suicidal thoughts shows just how seductive and dangerous (addictive?) those thoughts can be.
