:girl_sad:
Hi Sept.Morn,
Thanks for this thread. I think it's great to have something to talk about to help feel better about yourself -- and not have to just talk about problems and stuff all the time.
:thank_you:
I guess I've got a couple of questions. I'm 28 and already staring to get a few gray hairs here and there. (No kids or anything, I'm still single -- Lord only knows that the grays will start coming in all over the place when and if I have kids!)
I usually try to pluck out my gray hairs b/c I can't afford to dye them all the time, and even if I did, they have a different texture and stick out funny anyway. Is it really bad to pluck out gray hairs? It's not like there are tons of them, just enough to bother me! There would probably be only 20 or so individual gray hairs if I didn't pluck them.
(this is kinda gross, so you don't have to read it if you don't want to)
:sosorry:
I tend to "pick" at my hair and my face and stuff a lot (part of OCD tendencies, or Depression, or low-self-esteem, or something).
:head_scratch:
I break out all the time, but much more under my hair and around the hair line than on my face. Probably because I touch it way too often; I'm constantly running my hands through my hair.
I need to use heavy conditioner, b/c otherwise my hair is so frizzy. And if I have to go out I put a lot of product in my hair. I always feel like I look so bad, so I try everything possible to at least get my hair under control. I've pretty much figured out what works for me, but am wondering if all the conditioner/product I use is causing the breakouts. What is the best way to minimize these? Any products that you can recommend that I can use (like toner for my scalp or something?!?!?).
:humming:
I feel like I'm so bad at doing my hair, that I don't want to change my current "routine" if I don't have to -- it'll take years to figure out a new way to fix my hair!
Well, any advice you can give would be appreciated -- and thanks again!
