you can do this make sure his conditions of release are to stay away from you, if not get hold of someone like a solicitor or citezens advice to get you these rights, you should be able to contact victoms suport ppl under the polie they should of given you a card with number on and a case number also you should be able to speak to officer in charge of this case
he might of been released on bail waiting to go to court for sentencing
