aw. i don't know about pencils, but temporary tattoos seem like an ok idea. they get enough candy everywhere else, and you're in a pretty legitimate position for not having it in your own house.

i was all excited because it's our first halloween in a sort of normal neighborhood, so we bought all this candy, and not one kid showed up. not even the kids that live right next door.

also, it's candy i don't much like. so i'm not even glad to have it left over.
