That's great you're feeling a bit better and getting stuff done. I "cheat" and stretch out my food so I'm eating a little, lots of time; I deconstruct salads, LOL. I'll be eating a carrot just before bed, etc.

I love experimenting with new foods; apples are in season around here and I'd be at an apple farm trying one of all their varieties to see if there was one I liked more or less than another :-) Let us know how the Granny Smith tasting goes! I use to eat those. I like sweet fruit okay now since I don't eat any desserts or anything or use as much sugar in my coffee, etc. It is funny how we get use to something over time that we didn't use to like/dislike. Now that I'm eating better I can really taste flavors more and they seem stronger.
