It's not a comparison thing at all; it's for information, let you know how you see yourself, what you seem to be struggling with/working on. I take it every 6 months to a year, see how I'm doing; it's only for comparison against one's own scores as other people would be comparing apples to oranges. It's self-reporting so it's wholly about you, what you think about yourself so it's not possible to get anybody else in "there" :-)
It can change if you're doing better/worse in time but also could be different if you're having a bad day or are stressed this week, etc. If there's anything very surprising to you, mention it to your therapist if you have one and/or research whatever situation it's talking about, see how you might be able to affect that "problem" for yourself.
