Thank you for updating, don't apologize. Replacing those old records playing in our heads is a very, very difficult thing--but you can do it!! My opinion on the "falling in hole and not accepting a rope" thing is if you aren't going to accept the rope, then tug on it really hard so the other person falls in with you and you aren't alone, then you can work together to get out!!!
