(((((((mandy))))))) I understand how you are feeling. Honestly, I do. I too, walked away and I too turned my back. The guilt of that and the way I was living made me feel so ashamed. Even to the point of not feeling I was worthy of another chance.

Until I realized that I was judging myself by what "people" think of me and not seeing that God doesn't see me the same way they do. Or even the same way that I saw myself.

God's love and His capacity to forgive are far greater than what He is given credit for. He loved me when I couldn't even love myself. He was willing to forgive me and give me a fresh start when I felt I was already out of reach and at the end. We are never out of His reach. He is always right there with us, just waiting for our invitation, for us to give Him the opportunity to be active in our lives and help us heal and become whole again. All we have to do is ask.

Don't give up on God and He will never give up on you!
