this is gonna sound kinda dumb but i cant find any of this on the internet;
has anyone here had or have pcos?
is it harder to treat when you're fifteen? or a teen?
and how long is it gonna take? shes scared shes not gonna be able to have kids, and she's always talked about how she wants a family of her own.
to be honest, because of some issues i have with her brother i was going to stop going round there but it seems she just needs someone to relate to...
so if anyone can help with my questions, i thank you muchly =]

PCOS is very common in teens and young women. It is primarily a hormone issue and mood swings are very common...think of it sort of like having PMS all the time. Here is a website specifically geared to teens...
http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/pcosinfo.html
Having children IS difficult for women with PCOS...not impossible, but difficult. The website explains what happens with the ovulatory cycle, which is what makes having children difficult.
