I can relate to the above pars of what you wrote with my bipolar on some days.
However, do not immediately jump to the conclusion though that you have bipolar disorder. It is quite possible these manic-like symptoms are actually a
side effect of the anti depressant medication you are on.
The numbness and the inability to cry or experience the negative and sad emotions in a normal way is from the AD. Since it is affecting you in this way, there is a good chance it is also responsible for your other symptoms, especially if they began at roughly the same time.
What AD are you on, and how much?
I suggest talking to your doctor ASAP and letting him know the side effects you are experiencing and switching to a new AD. Going by what you wrote and the symptoms you are experiencing... my guess is that you are on a SSRI? See about switching to a SNRI such as Effexor or an atypical AD such as Wellbutrin. Both affect different neurotransmitters than the SSRI... so perhaps you will have a better outcome.
