My T suggested I try mediation/mindfulness/breathing for relaxation for my anxiety. I just finished and boy do I love how empty my mind feels right now! Peace and tranquilty!
So I thought that maybe listening to some calming nature sounds would help me with this and I checked out itunes and the amazon mp3 shop and I found TONS of nature sounds (I personally like the sound of water and rain) some are quite lengthy for days when I want a nice long meditation session and others are short for when I only have time for a 5 minute meditation session. I carry my ipod with me everywhere so, whenever I feel the need to meditate, maybe for a quick 5 minute break at work, I can whip it out and melt my thoughts and worries away.
