this wildfire business is really pushing my buttons. the nearest fire is 25 miles away, but there's no actual "designated fire area", all it would take here is for someone to throw a cigarette out a window. it's hot and windy and there are trees all over the place. there was an evacuation in the next town over back in april.

am i prepared enough? we have renters insurance and a fire safe. i made a list of things to grab (which i am hiding from my husband).

the thing is, fire is something you SHOULD worry about, so i'm not sure what to do. i guess nothing. these are not real problems.

i was just now debating whether i should get dressed and go put some more gas in the car, cuz it's only about 1/3 full. (it's 2am). the good news is that i decided that was stupid.
