I need to find a therapist who can help "fix" the "problem" of DID.

I'm afraid to, because my alters are the only thing that hold me together as a human and my soul and my mind... if that makes any sense. I'm terrified to not have them anymore... They're scared too and I'm afraid they will interfere with the therapist. They've done it several times.

Any suggestions?
Hi, we feel a lot like you. We are friends and don't want to lose each other. You should try and find a counselor that will work with you without expecting you to try and intigrate. That is was singulars want because that is all they know. They think being a multiple is something to correct. We work with a counselor that values each of us and is working with us on being more co-concious rather then being integrated. Good luck.
