It's about two hours later and my vision in that eye has improved by about 50%. The "film" has lifted about 25-50% and instead of having two shadows to things...there's only one on the right-hand side.

I think I'll wait another hour or so to see if it continues to improve. The pain is completely gone as well...it's not red or anything anymore.

I'm hoping my eye was doing it's amazing "self-protection" thing and doing what it had to to protect itself and that what is affecting my vision.

But, yes, it's still concerning. For instance, when I cover my left eye I can't see the words in this window I'm typing in. It's that blurry and there's a right-sided duplicated shadow to the words.

I just don't know, at this point, what Urgent Care can do, and if I'll need to get to an eye doctor on Monday?

Thanks so much for the advice guys. I'm gonna go talk it over with hubby right now.
