Hello Inky --
I think about you often and how bad your situation has been for quite a long time. I think you are a remarkably brave and capable person to have been able to get through a winter in Chicago living in shelter. That takes guts and spine!
I can't even imagine what it must be like to be prevented from seeing the children you had in your body for 9 months.
I thought that you were in a training program for a while? You have been very smart about checking out all the community resources available, and I hope your T has been helping you find resources, too. I know how it is when we don't have an income -- my friends and family ran like hell when I lost my job in 2003. So much for "mi casa es su casa" as one friend used to email me -- then asked me to pay her for petsitting and housesitting "to cover utilities."
Inky, I am so worried for you. I will pray for you.
Best wishes that something turns up for you.
