If your eye isn't better by tomorrow I recommend going to the hospital, I agree that you should try to keep it moist. A trip to the eye doctor is probably in order, any type of eye injury can become infected so they might want to put you on some antibiotic eye drops. It is amazing what can damage your eye, I had a cat swat me in the eye(didn't even use it's claws) and now I have a warped cornea.
