Hi Rapunzel,
Sorry to read about all the various stresses. If your husband doesn't want to put up a clothesline, there may be other options depending on your budget. I use a wooden clothes-drying rack which I bought at a discount store - it was cheap (I'm on a limited income so it couldn't have been much...I think it was maybe $5 but it's been a few years since I got it so I'm not sure). Anyway, it does great! I can put a whole load of laundry on it, and it folds flat inbetween laundry days and can fit in a surprisingly small space. You wouldn't have to ask your husband to instlal anything! I also hang clothes on hangers in the restroom when the shower is not in use, if I only have a few things to dry, and they're usually dry in a few hours, or at least by the next morning. So that's an alternative to the laundromat if your washer is working. Sometimes I wash things at my apartment complex, and then airdry them to save a bit of money...or I airdry the delicate things like sweaters too.
I also think you're being a bit hard on yourself....going for over 7 weeks without cutting is a big achievement, right there, and I hoep you'll keep going! Even if you still have ways you want to improve in other areas of your life, I hope you will still keep working on staying free of cutting, and maybe somehow you can allow yourself to feel good about it somehow, because I think that's great! ((((Rapunzel)))) hugs if okay
Thinkings of you,
ErinBear
