Here in my area, the major store closing that is going on is at a Linens & Things.

There have been rumors of some other stores closing soon, mostly the ones that are listed in the article Perna posted. But even besides those, factories and other industrial centers where I live are closing and/or laying off people left and right.

Very Scary!
