Thanks ((((((ErinBear)))))))). That clothes drying rack sounds really good. I do the other things you mentioned. It works for me, but apparently isn't good enough for the rest of the family.

I'm still up and down today. DH came home from work at lunchtime, still grumpy, and tied a rope to the back deck and the tree in the back yard. Then he announced that he's giving up all of his activities and hobbies and pastimes since we don't have money. I told him he doesn't have to give up everything (he does that periodically, and months or years later he'll throw it in my face, "I gave up everything I wanted for you!"). He says he does things all or nothing, and that's the way it is. I had taken a bath right before he got home, and was going to brush my hair, but I was freezing cold (with wool socks and a sweater and all that stuff), so I got in bed, and slept for like 4 hours I think. Tried a few times to get up, but never got very far. Now I've wasted my only day off this week.
